Solutions to Our Health Situation

If you have read the "Causes of Disease" section, you will understand the problem we face today. Bad health is not an accident and in most case it is out of ignorance rather than design that we and our families are facing ever increasing health challenges.

The solution now presenting is that of "Wellness". You see, we know that it takes years for our bodies to break down to the point where we get a "disease". Anyone who thinks that our heart pumps perfectly and then just stops one day, is a little naive. You can run your car without oil for a little while, then, eventually it will seize. Our bodies seize up if we don't give them the right nutrients for long enough. They seize up if we give them a continual supply of polluted water, unclean air and nutritionally deficient food. They seize up if we never give the engine a good run. This is plain logic. Disease is partly the result of years of degradation of vital body systems. So what are some simple steps we can take.

Filter Your Drinking Water

The water supplied to our homes contains chemicals in the form of chlorine and fluoride at least, heavy metals and pharmaceutical drugs. We are actually developing immunity to medications from this situation. The solution is to filter the water you drink. We recommend the Wellness Filter. Every time you take water into your body one of two things happens. Clean pure water, soaks up toxins and pollutants and flushed them out of your body. Water laced with minerals, heavy metals and pollutants leaves additional deposits in your body.

Think Positive Thoughts

There is now ample evidence that thought affects our emotions and our health. It is our attitude to events that creates stress in our bodies, not the event itself. Life tends to work out if you let it and going from perceived crisis to perceived crisis is a sure recipe for getting sick. Understand your place in the Universe and be grateful for all things that come your way and you will be healthier - guaranteed! It is a matter of training the mind. Whatever happens, silently say to yourself, "this too will pass!" We do not always have control over what happens in our environment. We have absolute control over our reaction to it.

It often seems that we do not have control over our thoughts and feelings. The truth is we do. Unfortunately past experience and programming from our life experience gets in the way. Change Your Diet

It is pretty hard to get our nutrients from food these days. That's why we recommend supplementation. We can moan about it, but that doesn't change the facts. In terms of eating, here are a few tips. Eat as much raw unprocessed food as possible. Limit your intake of meat. Animals eat large quantities of grass which concentrates the chemicals present by up to 1,000 times. When we eat met we have more toxins to deal with than if we don't. It depends on your metabolism how much meat is essential for you. Some of us can do without, some must to have it. Where possible avoid junk food. Reduce your use of packaged, canned and dried foods. Make fruits and vegetables the main portion of your diet. In the end, fresh is best. Supplementation

We have shown that our diets are deficient in vital nutrients. Stress, Anxiety and various diseases are often the result of poor diet. This is now widely recognised. Exercise

Our bodies were designed to be used hunting and gathering food. This means more exercise than pushing a shopping trolley. When you exercise, your organs move, your blood pumps, and important elimination takes place. You are placing your health at risk unless you take a half hour or more at least three times a week for a brisk walk, swim or other physical activity. We don't need to be Olympic Champions, but some sort of fitness is essential to a long disease free life.

Summary

We have discussed some simple strategies by which you can experience higher quality of life. Filter your water to reduce toxicity, think good thoughts to minimise stress, take supplementation to keep up nutritional supply and exercise regularly to keep your body supple and feeling good. It is a pretty basic regime, and one that has added years to my life - and can to yours. Try the whole program for six months and you will notice a difference.
